We are unique by teaching you 'real skills' you need, when approaching an interior design project. You will have an advantage in joining our course, as we have extensive industry experience, together with years of teaching experience. From lighting, space planing, colour, soft furnishings, furniture design. We nurture you and are always available, for any extra help you may need.
It is not always necessary to do a degree to become an interiors designer. Spending 3 years and coming out with a high debt at the end, you could find this a waste of your precious time and money. Unless you want to work on commercial projects, as there are a lot of technical details, rules and regulations you need to learn. We teach you all the essential skills that an interior designer faces and needs day to day.
By the end of this course you will have developed a range of design-related skills with the confidence to take a client brief, site survey, technical drawing and spatial layout techniques. Conceptual thinking, materials, textiles, soft furnishing, colour, furniture and lighting selections/styles. We will guide you on suppliers and where to purchase products. All this will be translated into a presentable working design scheme, so you can share your design vision professionally.
We are forward thinking, introduce you to future trends. In a friendly relaxed environment with a maximum of 8 students to give that personal touch. Four hours per week, to fit in with your busy life's. We also offer an intensive 10 day course, so you can get to work, putting your design skills into practise.
